Chelsealee Steals is the co-founder and host of Chelsea's Place, which started in October 2000.
She has been singing since she was a little girl. She grew up in a home that was filled with music and she developed a love for music from her father, who is a songwriter. |
Through her school years, Chelsealee was a member of the school choirs and often sang solos. She grew up in a Baptist church where she sang in the choir. While attending Penn State University, she was a member of a Christian group called the United Soul Ensemble.
When she returned back to the Pittsburgh area in 1997, she became a member of a nondenominational church where she joined the choir and later on became part of the worship team. On December 8, 2000, She had the privilege of being a part of the worship team to sing back up vocals at the Child of the Promise at the Mellon Arena. While a member there, she did solo work in numerous drama productions and even tried her hand at acting. She truly enjoyed performing and singing in their comedy dinner theater's production of, "Uncle Phil's Diner" in which she played Tammy, a girl who was stood up by her Prom date and ends up spending the evening at Uncle Phil's Diner.
Over the years, Chelsealee has sung in a variety of venues from Weddings, Women's retreats and conferences, Church Anniversaries, Christmas and Retirement parties, funerals, banquets, and various social clubs.
